Quiet Motors invited to the 5th edition of Izlog suvremenog zvuka festival in Zagreb
Muzički Salon SC and Mochvara Gallery are presenting Pierre Bastien at this years 5th edition of Izlog suvremenog zvuka festival / Showroom of Contemporary Sound in Zagreb, May 2nd and 3rd. The new music festival takes place at various venues of the Student Centre in Zagreb and is focused on contemporary music, sound art and audiovisual projects. Pierre Bastien is invited to perform Quiet Motors as well as deliver a special improvisation set with the Austrian trumpeter Franz Hautzinger and the Croatian bass player Alen Sinkauz. This year’s program also includes appearances by Thomas Ankersmit, Phill Niblock, Ivan Marušić Klif, Damir Bartol indoš, Tim Hodgkinson, Mette Rasmussen, Susana Santos Silva, Eli Keszler, Jonas Kocher, Andy Moor, Radian and many more. Quiet motors also soon in Ascoli, Italy and Poitiers, France
Celebrating his return to Italy, Pierre Bastien will perform Quiet motors May 13th 2017 in Ascoli for the 2017 edition of APP Ascoli Piceno Present, festival of scenic contemporary arts, at Ridotto del Teatro Ventidio Basso while he will return to France, in Poitiers, Wednesday May 31st, for the 25th anniversary of the Planetarium which already programmed more than 150 artists over six years, under its 4000 stars. Pierre Bastien confirmed at Tomorrow festival at B10 in Shenzhen, China
Pierre Bastien we’ll be part of Tomorrow festival happening at B10 in Shenzhen, China, for a performance May 18th after the appearances of FaUSt and Keiji Haino last year there. Mecanium presented at LAAC Dunkerque for “Musiques à voir”
The installation Mecanium of Pierre Bastien will be exhibited from July 1st to September 17th at LAAC, Lieu d’Art et action contemporaine, in Dunkerque France, for “Musiques à voir”, an exhibition curated by Jean-Yves Bosseur on historic links between music and visual arts.
